Tributes and farewells
Central Park witnessed two deeply emotional moments during the event. One of the greatest legends in BMX and urban sports, Daniel Dhers, chose Extreme Barcelona to mark the end of his career in Europe. Competing for the final time on the continent, Dhers performed in front of fans who had cheered him on to victory in the 2020 and 2021 editions. The crowd gave him a heartfelt farewell, honoring him with the recognition and admiration he deserves as a legend.

Another memorable moment was when Extreme Barcelona paid tribute to Roger Soler, a respected figure in the world of extreme sports, who tragically passed away last July at the age of 34.

Hugo Strauss took home the gold medal in the street scooter category after beating Matis Neyroud and Lucas Caballero in the grand final.
Our iconic Street Plaza also hosted the skate competitions: Valentina Krauel took home the gold in the women’s category ahead of Natalia Muñoz and Laura Zackova. At the same time, Marcelo Jiménez won the men’s category, with Nacho Lima and Joel de Castro completing the podium.
The street plaza also hosted a ParaBMX competition: Jack Dumper, Juanje Trujillo and Miguel Ángel Forigua triumphed in the most inclusive BMX category.
There was also room for the best promising riders: Alessandro Mudu, Javitxu de la Torre, and Bastian Brey, who won the Hot Wheels Superchargers junior skate and scooter park competitions.
In addition to the competitions in our parks, there were also countless events and championships of the best urban sports: the Spanish and Catalan Breaking Championship, the National Surfskate League, competitions on the 3×3 Basketball track, and the Freestyle Trampoline one of the new features of this Extreme Barcelona and which left us with some impressive moments.
