Nikita Ducarroz and Kieran Reilly were the two names to watch at the 16th edition of Extreme Barcelona, and both lived up to the hype. The BMX superstars triumphed in Central Park, each securing the gold medal in their respective men’s and women’s categories, in front of hundreds of spectators who were captivated by the thrilling performance.
The first to taste glory was the Swiss biker Nikita Ducarroz, who scored 87.33 and beat the Germans Lara Lessmann (85.67) and Kim Lea Mueller (85.33).



The men’s final was also very close, with Kieran Reilly (94.83) winning gold by beating his British compatriot Jude Jones (91.5) and Costa Rican Kenneth Tencio (89.67).
