Skateboarding has always been one of the pillars of Extreme Barcelona, and it has been present since the first edition in 2008—a world-class competition with facilities that have seen some of the biggest names in the sport.

Over 100 skaters nationwide will gather at the Street Plaza in September 5-7, 2025 to compete for the gold medal in three official categories: Men, Women, and Junior.

A 40×15 meters skate plaza built especially for the occasion will be the battlefield to crown the new champions of Extreme Barcelona.

In 2024, the junior competition Hot Wheels Superchargers successfully showcased and promoted young skateboarding talent. Additionally, several exciting events were added to the competitive skateboarding calendar in 2024:

• The Final of the Lliga Catalana de Skateboarding, in collaboration with the Federació Catalana de Patinatge.
• The Lligaskate x EB Cup, in collaboration with the CEEB (Consell de l’Esport Escolar de Barcelona). 

In 2024, Extreme Barcelona once again became the ultimate territory for skaters, further solidifying its status as a key event in the skateboarding world.
