Skateboarding has always been one of the flagship events of Extreme Barcelona and a worldwide reference competition. More than 100 skaters will gather in the Street Plaza during the 15th, 16th and 17th of September to fight for the gold medal in the three categories which will have an official competition: Men, Women and Junior.
The junior competition will be held under the name of Hot Wheels Superchargers and will be the big final of its 2023 calendar.
Local riders will also have their chance to compete against international riders, as some participants come from previous qualifying stages such as the Esportcat Extreme organised in conjunction with the Consell Català de l’Esport and the Federació Catalana de Patinatge. Other qualified riders are coming from the Lliga Skate Bcn, a local competition managed by the Consell d’Esport Escolar de Barcelona.
