Surfskate was included for the first time in the official competition program at Extreme Barcelona 2024, marking a major milestone for one of the fastest-growing urban sports in Spain.

The Parc del Fòrum hosted one of the stops of the National Surfskate League, organized by the Arima Surfskate Club, featuring the Open and Under 18 categories. The event showcased the innovative and progressive nature of Surfskate, with the diversity of maneuvers playing a key role in crowning the champions of this new competition.

Five judges were responsible for selecting the winners of the championship stop. An official competition wave was set up for the event, and free workshops were offered for those looking to try Surfskate for the first time. The facilities were also available for open practice during select hours over the weekend.
