  • Sebastian Wennmalm, Maria Petrunicheva and Alvin Medailleu were crowned world champions in the men’s, women’s and junior categories.

A significant highlight of Extreme Barcelona 2024 was the introduction of the freestyle trampoline, one of the most visually stunning events in urban sports. It made its debut at the Parc del Fòrum during the 16th edition of the event and did not disappoint.

Swedish athlete Sebastian Wennmalm claimed the men’s world championship title. Men’s competitor Robin Steiner, the reigning world champion, could not defend his crown and finished in third place, with Austrian Evan Rocha taking silver.

In the women’s category, Petrunicheva took gold, defeating Lydia Peltomaki and Viktoria Derschewizkiin in the final. In the junior category, Alvin Medailleu emerged as the winner, with Sergey Logovsky securing silver and Xavier Plana taking bronze.

Once the finals were over, the athletes stayed on stage to practice spectacular tricks that thrilled the fans who filled the stands at Extreme Barcelona.
