Movistar reinforces its commitment to urban events with the sponsorship of the 12th edition of Extreme Barcelona, the reference event in southern Europe for urban sports. The telephone company has thus reaffirmed its support for urban culture and new generations of athletes.

This twelfth edition of Extreme Barcelona premieres in its new format of free access allowing all the people of Barcelona to vibrate with Skate, BMX, Breaking, Scooter and Climbing competitions.

Movistar will manage within Extreme Barcelona one of the most important assets of Extreme: the open park. A free space to skate, replicate the tricks of the athletes and enjoy urban sports by performing small competitions in Bestrick format where all amater riders will have the opportunity to amaze the athletes with their best trick.

The telephone company joins the support of urban sports by organizing one of the most ‘underground’ formats, the Cash4Tricks in the BMX and Skate modalities. The competition format is a ‘jam session’ where athletes will have to showcase their best tricks and will be awarded with cash prizes.

Movistar’s collaboration with Extreme Barcelona is another example of its commitment to sport and support for urban culture and new generations of athletes.
