Esportcat Extreme is getting ready for its next event in the city of Lleida on the 3rd and 4th of June. This circuit of competitions in Catalonia is discovering new BMX and Scooter talents who will have the opportunity to compete with the best in the prestigious Extreme Barcelona, which will be held from the 15th to the 17th of September.

The stop in Lleida will be a special one, as it will be the only occasion on which the Copa Breaking Ciutat de Lleida, a Breaking competition organised together with the Federació Catalana de Ball Esportiu, will be held. This exciting event will take place on Sunday 4th June and will offer a unique opportunity for B-Boys and B-Girls who wish to boost their professional careers and for new talents to make a place for themselves in the lower categories.
Saturday 3 June will be dedicated to the BMX and Scooter categories, following the usual format of the EsportCat stops. These events are also supported by the Federació Catalana de Patinatge (Catalan Skating Federation) and the Federació Catalana de Ciclisme (Catalan Cycling Federation).

 

The Breaking competition will include the following categories: Kids (under 12 years old), Junior (12 to 15 years old), Under 21 (16 to 20 years old), Bboy Pro (21 years old and up) and Bgirl Pro (21 years old and up). In case there are not at least 4 participants in any category, they will be merged with other categories, such as Under 16 and Bboy/Bgirl. In addition, if there are not enough Bgirls, there will be a mixed category for adult professionals.
There will be exciting prizes up for grabs, including 3 medals in all categories, as well as a cash prize of 500€ for each winner of the Bboy and Bgirl Pro categories and the opportunity to participate in Extreme Barcelona.

Registrations will be made via email breakingfcbe@gmail.com, and participants must send the following information: full name, artistic name (Aka), ID number (DNI), date of birth, telephone number, email address and federation licence number (if you do not have one, it will be indicated at the time of registration).
