Extreme Barcelona now knows the 8 finalists in Men and Women BMX who will compete for points for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Lara Lessman has been the most outstanding rider of the semi-final showing a variety of well marked tricks, such as a bars cancan during her round. Iveta took a lot of risks with her tricks and surprised the judges when she scored a nothing. Katherin Diaz took third place in the semi-final after a very complete and solid round.

Tomorrow the eight finalists have an appointment at 15:40, to take some points for their Olympic path and the gold medal of Extreme Barcelona.

For their part, the trio of English riders have taken the top spots in this semi-final with great solid and fluid rounds. Shaun Gornal, James Jones and everyone’s favourite, Kieran Reilly, will compete tomorrow along with 10 other riders to take the Extreme gold medal and conquer the central park.

Tomorrow the central park will vibrate as the main stage hosting the two big BMX finals: the women’s (15:40h) and men’s (16:40h).
