2021 has marked a turning point and Extreme Barcelona takes another turn in its offer to address urban culture and music, with new content that will complete the offer of this great event. Of course, there will be no lack of competitions of the highest level.

Top-level international competitions, the best meet at Extreme Barcelona

The catalog of competitions that Extreme Barcelona has prepared for its 2021 edition is very extensive, and most importantly, of the highest level. In a week, competitions such as the Scooter World Championships land with three official competitions (Park Men, Park Women, Street Men) that come under the seal of the International World Skate Federation and the Spanish Skating Federation (the first stone to turn the scooter into Olympic sport can be in the Parc del Fòrum), the BMX Park competition with C1 category and championed by the international cycling union (UCI BMX Freestyle), and the men’s and women’s skateboarding competitions with some top-level representatives.

The Action Space Mega Ramp World ‘s Best Trick is one of the great novelties that will leave its mark, the first megaramp in Barcelona since the X Games of 2013 in this same city. We can only anticipate that this competition is going to be CRAZY!

Breaking bursts into Extreme Barcelona. This urban discipline is scheduled as an Olympic sport in Paris 2024, and Extreme Barcelona will witness the flow that the best b-boys and b-girls on the national scene are going to squander.

Finally, basketball also sneaks into the sports offer of Extreme Barcelona. September 25th and 26th. The Caixabank 3×3 plaza will be the playing field for new basketball talents. Four tracks ready to crown the best team.

Flexin’ at Extreme Barcelona

Flex is the word to define the new bet of Extreme Barcelona. The Flex Moments are the great commitment to urban music in 2021 in a new format of flash concerts (15 minutes) with great emerging artists who will liven up the warmups prior to the finals. Sofia Gabanna, Mishii, NFX, Lauren Nine or Juicy Bae are some of the proper names confirmed for this first edition.

Another of the highlights in terms of urban culture will be the Frtiz-Kola Wall Spot avenue, an initiative that will bring together the talent of more than 15 renowned artists in the urban stage area to demonstrate their skills in urban art. Dante Arcade, Art3sano and Nuria Toll are the names ready to create their works at Extreme Barcelona.

As if that were not enough, the public will also be able to enjoy the Hot Wheels Kids area, where the little ones can take their first steps in urban sports, and the open miniramp, which can be enjoyed by all attendees who want to do some tricks during the breaks between competitions.

The final culmination of the party will come from Urban Roosters and the best freestylers on the national scene. The finals that will star in the eight qualifiers from the previous online phase will fight to reach the final duel against the two FMS: Blond and Khan, who will close this edition of Extreme Barcelona in a great final show that you cannot miss.
