Grandes nombres confirmados para el Extreme Barcelona
  • Daniel Sandoval, Ivan Monteiro and Jordan Clark are some of the big names confirmed for Extreme Barcelona 2021
  • More than 300 athletes will gather at the Parc del Fòrum to fight for the medals of Extreme Barcelona 2021.

In this year’s edition of Extreme Barcelona we will have great athletes, some of the best in the World in all modalities in the event: Skate, Scooter and BMX.

Joao Lucas, Ivan Monteiro, Bruno Senra… Among others.

In Skate we will have the pleasure of having the Brazilian Joao Lucas, he’s the BEO (Barcelona European Open) 2018 champ held at Extreme Barcelona. He is a skater with an incredible style and a big bag of tricks.

We will also have the pleasure to enjoy with Ivan Monteiro, another Brazilian skateboarder and the Mystic Cup 2021 competition winner in Prague, Czech Republic a few weeks ago.

The Portuguese Bruno Senra, Extreme Barcelona 2020 champ will not miss his date at Parc del Fòrum on September 25-26; he is certainly a strong candidate to win the gold medal again.

Another huge name is Argentina’s Matias Dell Olio, he was fourth at Extreme Barcelona 2020, third at BEO 2019 and sixth at BEO 2018.

A BMX championship full of stars

This year’s BMX competition comes under the UCI BMX Freestyle label, so it will be an official world championship event. This means that we will have a very high level with some of the best athletes on the planet. 

Venezuelan Daniel Dhers, current champion of Extreme Barcelona 2020 has already confirmed his attendance – Dhers is always synonymous with spectacle!

More big names who are in for Extreme are: Kenneth Tencio, Olympic athlete for Costa Rica, the North American Daniel Sandoval, 4-time X-Games medalist and US national champion, the Peruvian Jose Maligno Torres, bronze medalist at the X-Games 2019 and champion of the Simple 

Session 2018 championship, and the North American Olympian Nick Bruce will turn Central Park upside down with their impossible tricks.

The Scooter World Championship at Extreme

In Scooter, we are very happy to host, in collaboration with World Skate and the Federación Española de patinaje (Spanish Federation of skating) the 2021 Scooter World Championships of Men Park, Men Street and Women Park:

The list of confirmed athletes is immense but here we present you some of the best athletes who will fight for the gold in the Street Plaza and Central Park; the British Jordan Clark, 3 times world champion, Dante Hutchinson, champion of the world final held at Extreme Barcelona 2017, Leo Spencer, the French Esteban Clott and the Czech Richard Zelinka will make everyone vibrate with the best Scooter in the world.

And at the Scooter Women’s Park World Cup, we highlight the American Rebeca Ortiz, 2019 Scooter W World Champion who will try to repeat the title. The British Lucy Evans, fifth in 2019 world final, Mia Catalano, rider from Los Angeles with a lot of style, and the Polish Kornelia Strzałkowska will leave the level of women’s Scooter very high.

An environment that breathes Hip Hop culture

But not ot all the superstars of Extreme Barcelona are on wheels. Some of Spain’s best b-boys and b-girls will also come at Extreme Barcelona and fight for the first medals in this modality in the history of the event. 

In the YOUNG BLOOD freestyle battle, participants will test their rhymes and ingenuity to overcome phases and fight for the gold medal in the big final. We will have new local promises and also great masters like Blon and Khan Double L that will make an exhibition that promises to be epic.
