Extreme Barcelona comes back stronger than ever in September.
- In the Olympic year, which marks the debut of urban sports as Olympic disciplines, the city will have the opportunity to receive some of the international riders who will have made their debut in disciplines such as skateboarding or BMX in the Japanese Olympics.
- Extreme Barcelona is held again this 2020 and will be a part of the Mercè festivities 2020, from September 18 to 20 at the Parc del Fòrum.
After a long break, Extreme Barcelona returns to bring the best urban sports to the city. A project that we started with great enthusiasm and that this year will celebrate its tenth edition at a key moment for the sector. It will be the first major international urban sports event to be held after the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. For the first time, several of the disciplines that are common at Extreme Barcelona debut, a multisport event that is renewed with the incorporation of three new Olympic disciplines as climbing, Basket 3×3, breakdance among others.
From September 18 to 20, the Parc del Fòrum will bring together the best athletes, Olympic medalists and the new promises to offer the best show that will be the kick-off to the Mercè parties in the city of Barcelona.
One more year Parc del Fòrum will be the official venue where the best international competitions will take place, in addition to a complete program of activities for our attendees, one of the hallmarks that has helped convert Extreme Barcelona in one of the urban sports reference events worldwide.
