  • Natalia Muñoz and Mauro Iglesias claimed the gold in Skate Street, while BMX Street and Scooter Street also delivered thrilling finals in front of an enthusiastic crowd.

In the women’s skate category, 16-year-old Olympian Natalia Muñoz was crowned champion after defeating Valentina Krauel, who this time took silver, and Ivet Terol, who finished third. Natalia said after the final: “I didn’t expect to win after the bad run of competitions, so I’m really happy with the victory. Thanks to my mindset I was able to push through and reach the podium in the best possible way. Extreme Barcelona was one of my first competitions, and I hope to come back next year.”

In the men’s event, Argentine rider Mauro Iglesias delivered an impeccable performance that earned him the championship with 172.34 points, followed by French rider Max Berguin and Slovak rider Richard Tury.

BMX Street also delivered spectacular moments: the Spanish Championships were held at Central Park, with Saul Vilar and Teres Fernández-Miranda crowned national champions, while in the junior category the gold went to Izan de la Fuente. In the afternoon, at the Street Plaza, the international BMX final left the crowd in awe: Eduardo Rodríguez took the gold, followed by Perrin Anthony and Fernando Laczko.

In Scooter Street, the action was relentless and the crowd kept cheering non-stop. Victory went to French rider Auguste Pellaud, followed by Neyroud Matis and Roomet Säälik.

To close the day on a high note, Matteo Wozniak won the 1st edition of the UWS SKatePro Street Battle with a 50-50 back that completely brought down Auditorium 2 of Parc del Fòrum.
