In less than a month, the energy of urban sports will once again take over Barcelona. More than 500 athletes from over 40 countries, 11 disciplines and three days packed with competition, music, activities and experiences for all audiences will make the city one of the world’s leading stages for urban sports. From September 4 to 6, the Parc del Fòrum will host the celebration of Extreme Barcelona’s 18th anniversary, transforming into the ultimate meeting point for sport, urban culture and entertainment.
Three days to experience urban sports at their best
Extreme Barcelona celebrates its 18th anniversary with its most ambitious sports programme yet. Over three days, some of the best national and international athletes will gather in Barcelona to compete in some of the most spectacular urban sports disciplines around.
The programme will feature 11 disciplines and nearly 30 competitions, including men’s, women’s and mixed categories. Among them are four Olympic sports: BMX Freestyle, Skateboarding, Breaking and 3×3 Basketball, sharing the spotlight with disciplines such as Scootering, Para BMX Street, Street Football, Surfskate, Streetboard, Roller Skate and Synkro Race.
A combination set to fill the Parc del Fòrum with tricks, speed, adrenaline and plenty of action.
Much more than competition
But if there is one thing that defines Extreme Barcelona, it is that sport is just the beginning.
The more than 18,000 m² of the Parc del Fòrum will become a space dedicated to urban culture and entertainment throughout the weekend, with activities designed for everyone to enjoy, discover and take part in.
Visitors will be able to enjoy live music and shows, Open Parks, workshops, urban art, fitness activities, the Synkro Race and the Street Mobility Zone, as well as a large Market and a wide range of food options at the Food Trucks.

General admission to Extreme Barcelona will be completely free for everyone, making it the perfect opportunity to enjoy the competitions and activities without needing to purchase a ticket.
