skatepark castellar del valles
  • The City Council of Castellar del Vallès (Barcelona) completes the remodeling of the skate park of the town.
  • About 1400 square meters with new type of modules for the practice of urban sports.

The Pla de la Bruguera skate park, located in Castellar del Vallès, has reopened its doors after recently completing remodeling works. These improvements have made it possible to modernize and expand the facility’s elements, responding to users’ demands. The City Council aims to establish this space as a key destination for urban sports enthusiasts in the community.

The renovations included replacing worn wooden modules with durable, safer concrete ones. Additionally, higher ramps and new features were introduced, reflecting current trends in skating styles and enhancing the space’s appeal for skaters of all levels. This intervention, which integrates with the existing structures, complements an improvement made seven years ago. The 1,300-square-meter space now features a renovated combination of ramps, railings, and other modules that mimic urban environments, providing a safe place for skateboarders to practice their tricks and maneuvers.

The project was developed by a company specializing in skate park design, with the collaboration of the Engorila’tSkate-Board Club association, which brings together enthusiasts of this discipline.

  • The Castellar del Vallès skate park was inaugurated in 2003.

To celebrate this reopening, Skate Day took place on Saturday, January 11, a day full of activities: food trucks, live punk rock music, prizes and raffles for all attendees.
