Extreme Barcelona is getting ready to celebrate its 15th anniversary in a special way. Its journey shows that it has become a consolidated event and rooted in the city of Barcelona, and is, today, the third longest running urban sports event worldwide. Extreme Barcelona will take place next September 15, 16 and 17 in its usual location, the emblematic Parc del Fòrum, a unique event that will celebrate its anniversary in a very special way. It will offer more activities than ever to become the perfect weekend to enjoy with the family.
The biggest urban sports event in the city brings more sport and more show than ever with national and international athletes who will be looking for their pass to the Paris Olympics. Therefore, this next edition will feature all the urban sports that will be present at the Olympics in a unique setting that will host international BMX, Scootering and Skateboarding events, the Spanish Breaking Championship, Climbing and Basket 3×3.

If the public thinks they have seen it all over the 15 years, nothing could be further from the truth, because in this new edition multiple sports, artistic and cultural activities can be enjoyed with free admission. For three incredible days, the Fòrum will be ready to entertain and take urban sports to another level, both fans and connoisseurs of this sport as friends, families with children, youth and adults, can get carried away by a full program that will not stop throughout the weekend.
The public will be the main protagonist and for the 15th anniversary will have more activities and cultural offerings than ever adapted for all audiences, from the most experienced in urban sports to those who want to take their first steps on their skate, bmx or scooter.

The 15th anniversary of Extreme Barcelona brings with it a weekend that promises to be full of leisure activities such as the market area, food trucks, music, culture, workshops and outdoor sports. In addition, high-level competitions in all disciplines will have activations so that the public can put themselves in the shoes of the athletes. The Fòrum’s colonnaded esplanade will become a small urban sports theme park with three open parks, a surfing and skateboarding area, pump tracks and miniramps, as well as climbing workshops and electric motocross exhibitions.
