For the third consecutive year the imaginExtreme Barcelona presented by Mountain Dew collaborates with the educational program of the City of Barcelona “The school makes sport in the city” under the direction of the Institut Barcelona Esports. It is a municipal program of sport in school that allows children of the city to participate in various sports activities.
The program offers to more than 30,000 children the opportunity to discover new types of sport in the urban environment. Among the different activities, more than a thousand and a half of young people have been able to make a dive in action sports at the Parc del Forum in Barcelona during a week in May.
Participants in the action sports activity students had already done at school a series of meetings around the skate and scooter -both very present in the Catalancapital- and after what they have learned, now had the opportunity to deepen in the modalities with experts monitors. There have been two sessions of 40 minutes each with a final show by professionals of the imaginExtreme Barcelona that left all participants eager to continue learning.
All students who participated may continue practicing and improving during the imaginExtreme Barcelona presented by Mountain Dew on 18th and 19th June at the Parc del Forum thanks to the gift they were given a 2×1 at the entrance of the event. And they have access to areas of practice open and enjoy with their classmates and friends.
