- Extreme Barcelona has honoured Jordan Clark’s career during its 18th Anniversary, held from 4 to 6 September at Parc del Fòrum. The British rider is one of the biggest names in the festival’s history and, with seven gold medals, is the athlete with the most wins at Extreme Barcelona.
- Clark has claimed six gold medals in scooter and one in BMX, a record no other rider has matched across the festival’s editions.
“The myth, the legend”
Jordan Clark has been part of Extreme Barcelona’s history for many years. He first competed at the festival as a teenager and has grown alongside it ever since.
His time at Parc del Fòrum has brought victories, memorable moments and, above all, a very special relationship with Extreme Barcelona and its audience. That is why, as part of the festival’s 18th anniversary, his career has been honoured by naming him “the myth and the legend of Extreme Barcelona”.
From scooter champion to chasing the Olympic dream in BMX
The tribute comes at a particularly important moment in Clark’s career. After becoming one of the biggest names in scooter, including winning the world title in 2021, the British rider has increasingly focused his efforts on BMX Freestyle.
Throughout 2025 and 2026, he made the definitive move into professional competition in the discipline and has already been crowned European champion. His main goal now is to make it to the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
At Extreme Barcelona 2026, Clark competed in BMX Freestyle Park, sharing the competition with some of the world’s best riders, including Kieran Reilly, silver medallist at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
A bittersweet edition
This year’s edition also brought a more difficult moment for the British rider. Clark suffered an injury on Saturday afternoon during the BMX competition.

18 years of watching the best riders grow
Jordan Clark’s story is also, in part, the story of Extreme Barcelona. Since the festival began in 2008, generations of riders have passed through Parc del Fòrum, growing up competing in Barcelona and eventually reaching the international elite.
Coinciding with its 18th anniversary, Extreme Barcelona continues to bring together athletes from different generations, creating a space for both riders who are just starting out and those who have already become world-class names. This year, more than 1,000 athletes from over 40 countries took part in nearly 30 competitions across different urban sports disciplines.
Honouring Jordan Clark is, ultimately, a celebration of all these years of sport, evolution and shared moments at Parc del Fòrum.
