- Everything you need to know about Extreme Barcelona, which will reach its 17th edition in 2025, featuring the world’s best urban sports.
Extreme Barcelona 2025 will once again bring the best urban sports to the Catalan capital and will once again boast the best facilities. In addition to having the largest experiential area to date, the 17th edition of the event will feature the greatest technical display thanks to its spectacular sports facilities, designed to offer the public the most exciting urban disciplines in first-class settings.
One of the most iconic spaces will be Central Park. There, high-rise ramps such as quarters, fun boxes, and spines will allow riders to execute extremely difficult aerial tricks and leave attendees breathless.
The Street Plaza recreates the essence of street skating and will also host spectacular competitions. Railings, inclined planes, and curbs perfectly reproduce the urban obstacles that inspire skaters in their daily lives, bringing the authentic spirit of street culture to the event.
Innovation also comes with the Trampoline, a large trampoline designed by Eurotramp. This facility, surrounded by a maximum-security padding system, will be the stage where Freestyle Trampoline athletes will challenge the limits of gravity with impossible twists and turns, celebrating the second edition of the World Championships in this discipline at Extreme Barcelona.
Urban basketball will have its place in the spotlight with the 3×3 basketball courts, located on the esplanade next to the Market and the experiential area. Three courts will be open to competition and anyone who wants to enjoy the most street-level version of basketball, with contests, activities, and challenges throughout the weekend.
