Central Park hosted one of the most exciting days of the event with the men’s and women’s BMX Freestyle Park finals. Riders delivered runs packed with technical precision and flow, putting on a solid showcase for a crowd that stayed fully engaged throughout the competition. In the women’s category, Noémi Molnár took the win after scoring 83.07 points. The Hungarian rider edged out Australia’s Sarah Nicki (81.67 points) in a tight finish, while Japan’s Rena Shirai rounded out the podium in third place with 74.74 points. Following the awards ceremony, Molnár shared that she had been dealing with back discomfort during practice sessions, but was thrilled with the outcome before heading to her next events in Belgium and Germany.
In the men’s final, Britain’s Kieran Reilly claimed the gold medal thanks to an outstanding run scored at 90.33 points, the highest mark of the day. The podium was completed by his compatriot Dylan Hessey, who took second with 86.09 points, and Australia’s Samual Grace in third with 84.07 points. After stepping onto the top spot, Reilly emphasized how meaningful this victory is for his progression toward the highest level, while praising the atmosphere at the venue and the crowd’s support.
