- The most decorated athlete in Extreme Barcelona history announced his retirement from high-level scootering to focus on BMX.
It’s been a massive transition for the scootering world, but it’s now official: Jordan Clark, the 5-time Scooter World Champion and 6-time Extreme Barcelona champion , has stepped away from professional scootering to pursue a full-time career in BMX.
While Jordan had been “multitasking” between the two sports for years (even winning 2025 Extreme Barcelona BMX Park compp), the shift has become his primary focus as of late 2025 and into 2026.
Why the Change?
Jordan has often mentioned that his scooter skills—specifically his air awareness and technical “park” ability—gave him a massive head start in BMX. After achieving everything possible in scootering, including his fifth World Title in 2021 and competing in the 2025 Sakai World Championships, the move to BMX represents a new mountain to climb, with focus in LA28.
Recent Career Highlights
-
Pro Status: He is now officially recognized as a professional BMX athlete, sponsored by brands like Hyper BMX and Snafu.
-
Competition Success: He recently made waves by taking the top spot in the qualification rounds at the Simple Session BMX event, proving he can hang with the world’s elite riders on a larger bike.
-
Content & Community: He has shifted his social media and YouTube presence to focus heavily on BMX “Day in the Life” content, training routines, and technical trick challenges with other pro riders like Kaine Mitchell.
Jordan’s departure is definitely the end of an era for scootering, as he was widely considered one of the greatest “park” riders to ever touch a deck. However, seeing him bring that same “send it” energy to BMX is incredible to watch.
