- The historic Spanish footwear and sportswear brand joins one of the world’s most important urban sports festivals.
Extreme Barcelona continues to add partners in its 17th edition, and the latest addition is a well-known brand in the world of sports: Kelme joins the event as the Official Partner of Extreme Barcelona. Thanks to this agreement, the historic Spanish brand will be responsible for outfitting all members of the organization, providing its signature seal of quality, comfort, and sporty style.
Founded in 1963 in Elche, Kelme has a long history in the world of sports that has made it a very popular brand both in Spain and around the world. With its iconic claw as its logo, the brand has outfitted top-level football clubs, national teams, and athletes from multiple disciplines.
With this collaboration, Extreme Barcelona adds to its team a partner with a history tied to professional and popular sports, with a special connection to one of the event’s pillars: 3×3 basketball.
One of Kelme’s latest product lines is KELME JV8 X LEFTIES, a collaboration with Lefties to pay tribute to one of the greatest legends of Spanish basketball: Jordi Villacampa. The alliance between Kelme and Jordi Villacampa dates back decades, when the Spanish brand wanted one of the great myths of Joventut Badalona to wear their sneakers, sneakers that caused a sensation in the 80s and were key to the world of basketball entering the fashion world. In this way, the KELME JV8 collection (Jordi Villacampa and his iconic number 8 that he wore during his time with Penya) X LEFTIES has become the latest demonstration that Kelme is committed to urban sports… and it does so in an unbeatable way by joining Extreme Barcelona.
