  • Long before the official competitions begin, the city of Barcelona will host many activities and events to celebrate the 17th edition of the festival.

The most extreme week in Barcelona is here. The 17th edition of Extreme Barcelona, Spain’s leading urban sports festival, which is gaining increasing international acclaim, will be held this weekend at the Parc del Fòrum. From September 5th to 7th, the best riders and athletes in sports such as scooter riding, skateboarding, freestyle trampoline, BMX, and 3×3 basketball will converge on the city, but the Extreme Barcelona activities will begin long before then.

Tuesday, September 2

On September 2, Plaça Universitat will host Gifts4Tricks, a spectacular event from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM where the best skateboard, scooter, and BMX riders will compete nonstop in search of cash prizes and gifts. In addition to the best tricks and equipment, such as the “secret obstacle” brought to us by sbRamps, the event will feature pop-up stands, the best music, and contests—everything needed to become the perfect appetizer for an Extreme Barcelona experience that looks better than ever.

Wednesday, September 3

Wednesday will be the last day for the little ones to enjoy Pop Up! School. From August 29th to September 3rd, the Diagonal Mar shopping center will host free skateboarding, scooter, and surfskate classes with instructors from The Ungravity Academy. The classes will be held in La Terrassa del Mar, and to participate, all you need is a desire to learn and enjoy urban sports. Equipment will be provided by the organizers, and admission will be free, although places are limited and preferential access is available for those who pre-register.

Thursday, September 4th

After almost a week of events with the Diagonal Mar shopping center as the stage, the action will move to the Parc del Fòrum, but not before a grand farewell party that will also kick off the official Extreme Barcelona calendar of events. On Thursday, September 4th, from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, more than 200 national and international riders will celebrate the arrival of the most anticipated event with live music, DJs, a Cash4Tricks competition, skate, BMX, and scooter exhibitions, and an urban atmosphere that will mark the beginning of the festival.

We will also have the opening of the ScootWorld Barcelona store, which will open its doors for the first time on September 4th at 4:00 PM at Carrer Provençals, 71. After many months of hard work and effort, this project, born with the goal of promoting the freestyle scooter industry with the best possible service for its customers, is finally coming to light. The opening of the store will be a big party with gifts for the first 100 to arrive, a raffle for a custom scooter, a wheel of fortune with a guaranteed prize, activities for all attendees, and the best food and drinks.

And before all this, the official presentation of Extreme Barcelona 2025 will take place. At 1:00 PM, Central Park will host the official launch of the event, which this year will feature Valentina Krauel, José ‘Maligno’ Torres, Viktoria Derschewizki, Victor Casanovas, and David Escudé.

Friday, September 5

Friday, September 5 will be the moment when the best urban sports will arrive exclusively at Parc del Fòrum, with a day dedicated exclusively to training and qualifying sessions that will mark the start of the official sports calendar for the most anticipated event of the year.
