- The Parc del Fòrum will once again host one of the most important urban sports events on the international scene, which will celebrate its 17th edition this year.
Guess who is back! From September 5th to 7th, Extreme Barcelona returns stronger than ever. Parc del Fòrum will once again host one of the world’s most important urban festivals, with everything you need for a unique experience for all audiences, merging sport, art, music, and urban culture over an unforgettable weekend with free admission.
One of the main attractions of this edition will be the UCI C1 BMX Park Competitions in the men’s and women’s categories, which will award qualifying points for the Olympic Games. The presence of elite athletes will make Parc del Fòrum a key stage on the road to Los Angeles 2028, but there will also be room for the best national riders, as the Spanish BMX Park Championship in its three categories (Men, Women, and Junior) will once again be held at Extreme Barcelona. In addition, the BMX Street competition will be held, and we will reaffirm our commitment to inclusion by once again holding the ParaBMX Street event.
In the skateboarding section, thrills are expected with international Street Skate competitions for men, women, and juniors, where top skaters from the international and national scene will showcase their creativity and technique to perform the best tricks in the Street Plaza.

But not all the limelight will be on the world’s best athletes and riders, as Extreme Barcelona offers activities and experiences for all ages: thanks to the largest experiential area to date, visitors can enjoy an urban market with emerging and established brands, concerts and live shows, food trucks and a bar area, open skateparks for all levels, a trampoline area, a “Wipe Out” attraction, and even zip lines for adrenaline-pumping adventures, along with urban art spaces.
