
- The best scooter, skate and BMX street riders have secured a place in the semi-finals.
- The freestyle trampoline qualifier has also been held, making up the grand final on Sunday.
The first day of competition was marked by the qualifying rounds. International riders had to give their all from the start to secure a spot in the battle for the medals, in a thrilling preview leading up to the big finals.
In BMX Street, Eduardo Rodríguez, Fernando Laczko, and Álvaro Esquivel took the top spots, leading the list of eight semifinalists who will fight for the medal tomorrow.
The other semifinal held at the street plaza was Para BMX, where Jack Dumper, reigning Extreme Barcelona champion in this discipline, along with Julián Molina and Miguel Ángel Forigua Ara, led the standings and head into tomorrow as the favorites.


In Scooter Park, the 20 semifinalists are already set. The provisional podium is led by Jayden Sharman, 2023 Extreme Barcelona Champion, followed by Harvey Perkins and Charley Dyson.

In Skateboarding, the men’s qualifiers took place, with 20 riders advancing. Max Berguin, Jonas Carlsson, and Silas Aagaard-Hagen topped the standings and will return to compete in Saturday’s semifinals, aiming for a spot in the grand final, alongside the women’s category.


In BMX Men Park UCI C1, the 20 qualifiers have already secured their place in the semifinals. Leading the standings were Reece Dabreo, Juan Caicedo, and José Torres Gil, who set the pace for the day.
The Spanish Women’s BMX Championship crowned Teresa Fernández-Miranda as the winner, joined on the podium by Laura Carrera Aldudo in second place and Maialen Seisdedos in third.
Finally, in BMX Women Park UCI C1, the top three riders advancing to the final were Sasha Pardoe, Elsa Rendall Todd, and Lara Lessmann—last year’s runner-up—who once again confirmed her great form, strengthening her bid for the gold medal.
