The Parc del F\u00f2rum already breathes action. Today has kicked off the 8th edition of the imaginExtreme Barcelona<\/strong> with a day of training and the first qualifying rounds. Now everything is ready so that this weekend thousands of spectators can enjoy one of the most relevant sports and action culture festivals in Europe.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

6 modalities, 15 competitions and 400 riders<\/strong><\/p>\n

More than 400 riders<\/strong> are quoted in the Catalan capital to offer the best spectacle of action sports. Throughout the weekend will be held up to 15 competitions<\/strong> corresponding to the modalities of BMX, scooter, inline, longboard, Streetboard and skateboard.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This year the imaginExtreme Barcelona<\/strong> has made a leap forward with the creation of facilities that are assimilated to those of the world festivals. Both Central Park<\/strong> – multi-sport facility – and BEO Park<\/strong> – specific to the skateboarding competition – have grown in size and this will allow riders to be more daring and try more spectacular<\/strong> tricks. And do not forget the cross track<\/strong>, where the tests of speed of longboard, inline cross and scooter cross are celebrated.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Music, Food Trucks and Lifestyle<\/strong><\/p>\n

But beyond the competition, the imaginExtreme Barcelona<\/strong> is also culture and lifestyle<\/strong>. The festival offers music<\/strong> in a stage set in the center of the Market<\/strong> Street, the street dedicated to specialty shops in the action sports sector. And this is accompanied by a variety of food trucks spread on the premises to get a bite or some food.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

In addition, this edition it has been created the Chill Plaza<\/strong>, a space where you can enjoy urban culture<\/strong> with an exhibition of urban art<\/strong> by the hand of Montana Colors, slackline and parkour exhibitions<\/strong>, as well as some more shops. The Chill Plaza will be the ideal place to take refuge from the sun, relax and have a drink with friends or family.<\/p>\n

Activities for children and young people<\/strong><\/p>\n

The imaginExtreme Barcelona<\/strong> is characterized for being a festival suitable for all audiences. For those who want to enjoy the competition, those who come to practice the more than 3,000m2<\/strong> of facilities open<\/strong> to the public for initiation or practice of action sports and also for families. The imaginExtreme Barcelona also dedicates a large area to the youngests<\/strong> of the house, so that they can discover the different sports modalities.<\/p>\n
