\u201cThe Games are going to bring a wave of good things for people who want to dedicate themselves to Breaking professionally.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Breaking will debut this summer in Paris as an Olympic discipline. The most urban and artistic modality will pit b-girls and b-boys from all over the planet against each other to win the Olympic medal. One of the dancers who is fighting<\/a> to get a place among the 16 athletes and see herself battling in the Plaza de la Concordia, is Laura Garc\u00eda.<\/span><\/p>\n The winner of Urban World Series MUS 2021<\/a>, two-time Red Bull BC One champion and two-time Spanish champion, plays the qualifier in the two Olympic qualifying series in the capitals of Shanghai in May and Budapest in June.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cMy preparation for those two events is more of a state of mind, <\/span>of telling myself, I can, I can be there,<\/b>\u201d explains Laura Garc\u00eda regarding how she prepares for this pre-Olympic phase.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n After eleven years dedicating herself to Breaking professionally, the dancer faces the Olympic challenge with great enthusiasm, but without putting any extra pressure on herself: \u201cAt first it is true that I was more pressured because it was something new. But now with all these years that I have been dancing, <\/span>doing a style, and with that mental maturity, I don’t put that pressure on mysel<\/b>f\u201d and she adds that, \u201cI simply take it as another championship.\u201d It’s true that it has a certain importance, <\/span>but if I don’t get that place, I’m going to continue dancing<\/b>.”<\/span><\/p>\n Laura Garc\u00eda not only prepares mentally. Her physical preparation includes resistance routines that allow her to endure three battles. One of the ways to achieve this is by simulating it with other people she trains with, representing situations that she can encounter with other b-girls. She plays with music, spontaneity and seeks to clean movements that can prevent injuries or falls. \u201cI am inspired by the fact that I am training with other people and other times I am also alone,\u201d she explains about her daily routine.<\/span><\/p>\n The change to Olympic modality has led to modifications in the championships organized by the WDSF, in which they now separate b-girls from b-boys. Hace unos poco meses hab\u00eda desaparecido su m\u00edtica miniramp, despu\u00e9s de cada d\u00eda estaba m\u00e1s destrozada con las maderas rotas, y tornillos sueltos que la hac\u00edan super peligrosa.<\/span><\/p> [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=\"https:\/\/extremebarcelona.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Image_20240109_104258_554-scaled.jpeg\" title_text=\"Image_20240109_104258_554\" _builder_version=\"4.23.1\" _module_preset=\"default\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=\"4.23.1\" _module_preset=\"default\" hover_enabled=\"0\" global_colors_info=\"{}\" sticky_enabled=\"0\"]<\/p> El tercer skate park es en Tei\u00e0 (el Maresme), a cargo de <\/span>Vulcano Skateparks<\/span><\/a>, finalizado y que se inaugur\u00f3 a final de a\u00f1o, a punto para empezar 2024 apostando por los deportes urbanos.<\/span><\/p> Parece un espacio peque\u00f1o pero con mucho juego: diferentes transiciones por todos lados, transfers, wallrides, pool copings, rail rainbow y slappys para jugar y pasarlo en grande.<\/span><\/p> Esta empresa est\u00e1 en plena forma y en estos \u00faltimos a\u00f1os ha construido muchos skate parks en Espa\u00f1a y Europa: Gurb, Granollers, Alpe D\u2019huez, y tambi\u00e9n el de Dosrius, que ha recibido muy buenas cr\u00edticas de parte de riders de todas las modalidades.
